History

More than 30 years ago CR Dutton started out as a local delivery company out of Southern Maryland. They serviced the DC Metro and surrounding areas of Maryland and Virginia. Chris soon expanded the business to include CF Air Freight daily operations and then to multiple air freight operations. The airfreight side of the business boomed and before long, CR Dutton had dedicated cell site deliveries for Hughes Network and a committed run for GE of Lynchburg. Turning his attention to Sunrise Assisted Living, CR Dutton became the primary transporter and installer of all furniture and accessories in their buildings. CR Dutton continues to provide outstanding service for Sunrise and has for the past 15 years.

Drivers

As a company we have no tolerance for non-compliant drivers or unsafe equipment. Many drivers have come, few have stayed. To protect everyone, our high standards are hard to meet and keep. All our drivers and equipment are DOT compliant and we know what it takes to deliver safely on-time, every time. Drivers are experienced for all situations and circumstances.

For our airfreight customers, drivers are TSA Certified. They can pick-up airfreight from a customer and tender it to the airlines or airfreight forwarders without any delays.

We carry cargo insurance of $500,000, not because we have to, but for your peace of mind. That is 5 times the typical amount other companies choose to have as protection.
